The star of Belarusian NPP “lit up” on the Alley of International Cooperation of Rosatom

As part of the celebrations dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the launch of the world's first nuclear power plant, the Rosatom Alley of International Cooperation was opened in Obninsk.

Among the first is the star of Belarusian NPP, which was “lit up” by the general director of the state enterprise “Belarusian Nuclear Power Plant” Sergei Bobovich

The Alley of International Cooperation of Rosatom is a new facility that has become a logical continuation of the Alley of Nuclear Cities existing in Obninsk since 2022, which features 26 brass stars laid out on granite slabs with the emblems of Russian cities of the nuclear industry.

The Alley of International Cooperation will consist of stars symbolizing Russian nuclear projects abroad. On the opening day, Hungary (NPP Paks-2), Egypt (NPP El-Dabaa), India (NPP Kudankulam), Iran (NPP Bushehr), China (NPP Tianwan and NPP Xudapu), Turkey (NPP Akkuyu), Armenia (Armenian NPP) and Bangladesh (NPP Rooppur).
