During the visit, issues of expanding cooperation in nuclear energy, personnel training, features of the construction and commissioning of nuclear power plants, and social and living conditions created for the company's employees were discussed.
At the NPP training center, representatives of Uzatom were given a tour with a demonstration of a full-scale simulator of a block control panel, local simulators, and were told how operational personnel are trained.
During a sightseeing tour of Belarusian NPP site, representatives of the Uzbek side learned about the design features of the new generation 3+ “AES 2006” project with VVER-1200 reactors.
The “Uzatom” delegation visited Ostrovets and got acquainted with the infrastructure of the city of nuclear workers. The representatives of Uzbekistan were shown the main social and cultural objects of the atomic city and told about the living conditions of the plant employees.
Following the meeting, the Director of Agency “Uzatom” Azim Akhmedkhadzhaev left a memorable entry in the “Book of Honorary Guests of Belarusian NPP”:
